About Genome Cosmetique

Established in 1997, Genome Cosmetique is dedicated to providing the most demanding and selective customers with exceptional skincare products. By leveraging scientific advancements, they strive to deliver innovative solutions that address the unique needs of their target audience.

Project Overview

Genome Cosmetique approached us to develop branding and packaging for their revolutionary new skincare cream, which utilizes findings from the human genome project. The project scope included:

  • Logo design for the primary brand, Genome Cosmetique
  • Stationery design (letterhead and business cards)
  • Logo design for the product brand, Altero
  • Packaging design for the outer box and high-tech dispenser/bottle

Challenge

The primary challenge was to create a brand identity and packaging design that effectively communicated the product’s advanced scientific formulation while appealing to the luxury skincare market. The design needed to convey a sense of sophistication, exclusivity, and cutting-edge technology.

Solution

To address the challenge, we developed a sleek and modern design language that showcased the product’s scientific foundation. Key elements of the solution include:

  • A minimalist logo for Genome Cosmetique, featuring circles to represent the DNA sequence
  • An elegant and high-tech product logo for Altero
  • Premium packaging materials, including a chrome lid and semi-translucent bottle
  • Clean, precise typography and a refined color palette to evoke a sense of luxury and scientific precision

By combining these elements, we created a cohesive brand identity that positions Altero as “The world’s most advanced skincare” product.
